We are made for glory!

Bibeln är en sån bra bok alltså! Jag tänkte dela lite bibelord på temat "härlighet" (eng. glory). Bibelorden blev på engelska på grund av att jag experimenterade med att göra musik och läsa in bibelord. Engelska är liksom ett vackrare språk :)

Det vik­ti­gas­te hebre­is­ka or­det för härlig­het (kavód) be­ty­der bok­stav­li­gen tyngd, i överförd me­ning ära och an­se­en­de, ibland ri­ke­dom. Skönhet och prakt är också närlig­gan­de be­grepp. I NT används det gre­kis­ka or­det dóxa på lik­nan­de sätt om Gud och Kristus. Att människor och äng­lar böjer sig i till­bed­jan be­skrivs med ett mot­sva­ran­de verb, ge härlig­het el­ler förhärli­ga, i såda­na sam­man­hang åter­gett med ord som pri­sa, ära och hyl­la. I fräls­ningsläran används or­det härlig­het om den återglans från Gud som människan från början ägt men som syn­den har förstört. Den återställs ge­nom Kristus hos de krist­na. (www.bibeln.se)
